8 Months!

Max is 8 months old and getting ready for his first Christmas.  It is a very exciting time.  Max has had a great month.  He has a new cousin!  Tyler Joseph was born on December 4th.  Max is amazed with the sounds that Tyler makes.  He has not spent much time around other babies and he is fascinated when he hears other babies talking.  Max's first Thanksgiving was relaxing and fun.  He spend the day with Uncle Blake, Mom and Grandma at the beach.  Max is sitting up unsupported.  Max also had a visit to the Oakland temple.   We have had a great month.
Max is a special present in our Family.

Max loves it when dad reads to him.

7 Months

Max is seven months old.  Time is flying and we are having tons of fun!  Max is growing very quickly.  He is rolling and laughing, kicking his legs and playing with toys.  We like to sing at home.  We have so much fun singing that he likes to sing all the time.  When we are in church he sings along, loudly, with the hymns.  Fortunately people can not hear him singing since they are are signing.  The two hymns we sing at the start of our service tire Max out and he sleeps thought the rest of the service.  In this last month we had a visit from Grandma Lloyd and Uncle Travis.  Max was fascinated with Uncle Travis' fuzzy chin.

Max is six months old.  Everyday is a new adventure.  He is eating sweet potatoes and rice cereal.  He is sleeping through the night.  We have taken Max camping a couple of times in the last month.  Camping is the perfect activity for Max.  He loves being outside.  He lays on a blanket and laughs at the wind blowing in the trees.  He talks to the birds that fly buy, and he is fascinated by the camp fire.
For Halloween Max is dressing as the cutest duck in the world.

5 months and Rolling

Max is getting bigger by the day. He is rolling over all on his own. He has not figured out that he can move around the room by rolling over, but he knows that he can roll over to see different things. He has also started eating rice cereal. He loves eating.Striking a pose after church.

Just so happy all the time.

Cooking in the kitchen with mom - and showing off my toes - they are perfect little piggies.

Our Big Boy

Max is doing great! He is getting bigger by the day. He is officially sleeping through the night. (With a little help from Babywise) He goes down at 8:00. I wake him to eat at 5:30 - then he goes back to sleep and sleeps until 7:00. I wake him so I can feed him before I go to work. We have the perfect situation. Dad is home with Max until noon and then I get home from work and take over. We are very blessed to be able to be home with him all the time.

Cuddling with Uncle Chase.
After crying when ever he held Max. Max will finally let Uncle Chase hold him. Which is good since Uncle Chase will be a daddy in December.

In Our very cute church clothes. We had just been to the Pitman's baby blessing.
Oh if my uncle could see me now!

Video of Max and Family

On June 1st, we had Max blessed at our church. We had lots of family and friends come and join us. This was Max's first chance to meet many of his extended family. Evan pulled out his dad's video camera and whipped together a nice montage of the weekend.

Enjoy

3 MONTHS!

Max is three months old! It is hard to believe that so much time has passed. Each day he is discovering something new. He spends hours playing with his tongue. He has discovered his hands and will grab onto toys. He really enjoys singing along with our Disney CD. Camp has provided many faces to study and smile at. We will be bored when we go home. At home it is just Mom, Dad and Max - Not 100 staff members ready to entertain Max.Pat is a great Grandma and knows just what fun things to say to Max to make him smile.
Dan sings Frank Sinatra to Max. Max enjoys his singing, but when he stops singing - Max is not too sure about this Irish Man!
We love all of the Friends we have made, Rachel from Australia, Sara a California girl, and Jeff a Midwestern boy.
It is offical - I have an innie bellybutton. Max loves being in the nude.
What busy days we have - Max played with his horse until he driffed to sleep.

Camp is fun for Max - 12 weeks

We are having so much fun at camp. There are a ton of people to smile at and the weather is so nice. We wanted to share a few fun photos of the summer we are having.
Playing on the bed with mom. Max looks so cute in his Yankees outfit. It was sent to him from his cousin Owen.
While holding court with his animals, Max fell asleep.
Max's first day of work - the Babysitting class practiced their new skills. First they changed his diaper, and then changed their clothes. He decided to be particularly wiggling for the girls.
Mom and Max heading out. Max has spent a lot of time in the baby wrap. Max love's looking around as he and mom walk around. Max kicks his legs as mom walks. He is ready to walk - just lacking the gross motor skills.
Remy takes care of Max during activities days. This day Max and Remy are matching. They are both ready to play ball!

Max is 10 weeks old! It is hard to believe. He is smiling and giggling at things. He reaches out towards toys. He is really having fun with grandma at camp. They have a great time talking to the animals at the barn and swinging on the swings. Everyday Max shares his adventures with his Butterfly and Caterpillar (his two favorite toys). Dad has come to camp and Max is very happy to see him. Dad was dropped off by Grandpa, Grandma Lloyd, and Uncle Joe. Uncle Tom is staying at camp. He is in cabin "Nevada City." He will be part of adventure camp with Dad. It is very exciting to have the family at camp. We are going to have so much fun and exciting pictures to show for all the fun.

9 weeks old and 1 week of camp

Max is having fun at camp. Grandma and Max have fallen into a nice routine. They walk to the animal care barn a couple of times a day, and say hello to all the animals. They sit in the different swings around camp and watch the campers go by. Today we took Max to the pool for the first time. He wore his cute swim suit and rash guard. Mom is working hard on the camp's accreditation standards. Dad is coming to join us on Sunday. Max is looking forward to seeing his daddy very much!Max and Mom swimming
